据美国Quartzy网站报道称，有着中国版“指环王”称号的金庸小说《射雕英雄传》英文版将于明年在欧美上市，其将分12卷陆续出版，而2018年2月发售第1卷《英雄诞生》(A Hero Born)。
但是汉语的博大精深，老外怕是不能完全理解。为了原汁原味的把《射雕》翻译成英文版，据说准备工作前后做了差不多60余年，而最终来自伦敦的麦克莱霍斯出版社签下这套书，而翻译《英雄诞生》耗时约一年半。
对于这部武侠小说来说，书中那些耳熟能详的招法怎么翻译呢，比如“打狗棒法”、“九阴白骨爪”，其被翻译成Branch Beats the White Chimpanzee和Nine Yin Skeleton Claw。
一听到这样的消息，不少网友也开始尝试着去翻译英文版的武功绝学，画面非常欢乐：

九阳神功：nine sun power
还有网友把这些武侠小说的书名，翻译成了英文名称，比如：
